Front-end Developer (Wash
ington DC) As our Front-end Developer, you will collaborate with the rest of the software team to identify and prioritize new features or improvements to the product; Build out beautiful, functional web application interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 via Sass,. and JavaScript (primarily jQuery); Constantly and thoroughly test new and existing areas of the product across devices, operating systems and browsers, documenting and resolving issues; Judiciously maintain and organize DRY, well-documented code and assets; When you look at our web site, you should be able to indentify the areas that could be improved to enhance our member experience.

Real Estate Senior Manager - Production / Underwriting (Washington DC) As our Real Estate Senior Manager, you will be traveling nationwide to build relationships with top sponsors and represent the Qidian brand; originate real estate deals, in particular small-balance commercial and infill development deals; and  and analyze real estate project pro-formas, comps, sponsor track record and reputation; and work with Qidian team to develop systematic methods for originating and underwriting real estate project.

Accountant (Washington DC) As our accountant, you will create and manage policies and procedures, budgeting, variance and forecast reporting, appropriate controls, cash/liquidity management and asset/liability management; and oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable through our ACH payment system; and prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements; and create and track key performance metrics and recommend benchmarks; and conduct various financial analyses, including at the property level, and assemble management reports; and manage third parties including external accountants and audit firms and support tax filings; and work cross-functionally with our originations, client relations and operations teams; and support information requests from customers on our platform.

Client Relations Associate (Washington DC) As our Client Relations Associate, you will serve as a primary point of contact for a growing base of sophisticated investors all over the country and eventually the world; and guide investors through our investment process from start to finish; and manage investor payments, documents, and distributions; and assist in implementing and maintaining our investor reporting system as well as certain key performance metrics; and market new investment offerings and company newsletters to our investors and provide property updates on existing investments; and prepare reports, presentations and analyses as needed; and explore ways to improve the investor experience, increase engagement and constantly think of how to improve our internal processes.

Real Estate Originations Associate (Washington DC) Qidian is seeking highly motivated, recent college graduates to help source, sell, close and qualify real estate borrowers and sponsors looking to raise debt and equity capital for single family residential and commercial properties through Qidian’ innovative online syndication platform.  You will be responsible for source and manage warm and cold borrower/sponsor leads using a variety of paid and unpaid channels including those driven by marketing team; and originate and assist in closing new borrowers/sponsors; and research, build and manage contact lists for new leads;  and phone and email canvassing for potential borrowers/sponsors; and assist in onboarding, due diligence closing processes; and maintain and engage with leads using our CRM; and pro-actively follow-up with leads to help qualify them for debt or equity financing.

Real Estate Transaction Coordinator (Washington DC) As our Real Estate Transaction Coordinator, you will coordinating and corresponding with customers, borrowers, and escrow and title officers during the closing process; and assisting with all government filing requirements (including Reg D Filings at the State and Federal Level); and managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable on varying schedules; and making phone calls and drafting emails to clients and customers and corresponding with same; and answering incoming phone calls and emails.

Head of Legal (Washington DC) The Head of Legal will represent the Company in a broad range of securities, corporate and commercial matters, including regulatory compliance and managing and overseeing the private placement process for real estate offerings conducted through the qidiancapitals.com platform. Your responsibilities include: Review, draft and negotiate private placement documents (Operating Agreement, Subscription Agreement and PPM) for real estate syndications offered through the www.qidian.com web platform; Create standardized templates and processes to help scale legal and operations; Create, implement and ensure adherence to governance, risk and compliance programs; Negotiate, draft, review and execute business agreements, contracts, licenses and other legal agreements with investors, partners, and other third parties; Ensure that the company’s products and processes are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, such as real estate laws, lending laws and securities laws; Supervise outside counsel and assume responsibility for quality and cost for matters; Assess legal risks and suggest appropriate business practices in light of legal risk assessments; Develop training and compliance programs and help train Company employees on legal matters and implications for the organization; Work cross functionally with originations, investor relations, ops and technology teams to develop new products and initiatives.

VP of Investments (Washington DC): The VP of Investments will effectively be the CIO-in-waiting and with the demonstration of competency, character and successful performance over time will have the full opportunity to earn that position. His/her responsibilities include: Underwrite, structure, negotiate and close the various investment opportunities under consideration including investments in other 506 Regulation D funds, real equity transactions, and acquisition and origination of real estate secured debt; Hire, train, manage, and lead a team of underwriters, analysts and portfolio managers as well as supervise relationships with outside vendors such as appraisers, environmental inspectors, contractors, due diligence providers, attorneys, etc.; Perform (and delegate performance of) extensive due diligence on both new investment opportunities as well as ongoing monitoring of our investment portfolio over time and make recommendations as to courses of action; Lead, manage and improve our investment policies, procedures, and decision making processes and systems; Be the primary point of accountability (reporting directly to me as CIO) to organize and run our Investment Committee and review, underwrite, analyze and recommend course of action on all investments; Liaise directly with legal counsel and counterparties, including sponsors, fund managers, syndicators, and lenders to negotiate transactions, draft and review legal documents including operating agreements, participation agreements, PPMs, credit facilities, and other similar documents; Participate in senior executive leadership sessions and meetings concerning company strategy, investment policies, hiring and growth decisions, and other senior level strategic decision making; Determine, recommend and monitor relevant and important macro level statistics, trends, and measures to track and assess when making investment decisions; Develop and implement system(s) to track and analyze appropriate data and report to Investment Committee and CIO as well as monitor, update and improve upon these measures continually; Monitor existing portfolio of investments on an ongoing basis and make recommendations as to buy, add, hold, sell, etc. based on a variety of ever evolving characteristics and factors
